Sunscreen with aloe vera and coconut oil:
Aloe vera in your homemade sunscreen is an excellent active component. The treatment and prevention of burns on your skin have been proved. This mixture is not water-resistant and must be applied often.
• Coconut oil 1/4 cup (has an SPF of 7)
• Powdered zinc oxide 2 (or more) tbsp.
• Pure aloe vera 1/4 cup gel (must be 50% or more).
• Twenty-five drops of olive oil and an SPF boost.
• For spreadable consistency 1 cup (or less) shea butter.
In a medium saucepan combine all ingredients except zinc oxide and aloe vera gel. Melt the shea butter and oils together in moderate flame. Let cool down for a few minutes in aloe vera gel before bruising.
Cool before zinc oxide is added. Mix thoroughly to ensure that zinc oxide is spread throughout. For a more sticky consistency, you can add additional beeswax or another waxy ingredient. Store in a jar or glass and keep dry until ready to be used in a cold area.
Homemade sunscreen spray:
Combine the components, except shea butter, to produce a DIY sunscreen spray. Once the combination has been fully refreshed, it is possible to add a little more aloe vera gel and a carrier oil, such as almond oil, which has its own SPF characteristics before the combination is sprayable. Store and maintain cooled for the best effects in a glass spray container.
