What causes white hair at an early age?

Those having grey hair problem in the inheritance they can’t do anything except to dye them frequently to maintain the color of the hairs.

Stress is the reason for abnormalities in the body. Just like stress cause heart problem, acne, skin pigmentation, stomach disorders and many more. It also causes loss of hair pigments, eventually, it causes hair whitening.

A person suffering from continuous stress will likely develop white hair at early age. Sudden trauma, accident, or injuries lead to this problem. The studies show that stress causes the depletion of stem cells. Thus it results in loss of hair color leaving white strands.

The thyroid problem is also the main cause of the whitening of hairs. Both hypo and hyperthyroidism cause premature hair discoloration. It is because the overactive or underactive thyroid affects the production of melanin.

This in return causes the loss of hair color. Therefore, it is essential to treat the thyroid problem to prevent further whitening of hairs.

Deficiency of Vitamin B12

Having white hair at an early age is also because of vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin plays a vital role in hair growth and hair color.  Moreover, it gives energy, deficiency of this vitamin lead to pernicious anemia.

It is the condition in which the body does not absorb the vitamin. Thus leading to deficiency of vitamin D. This in return results in ma functioning of the red cells as well as the stem cells of hairs. It weakens hair cells and affects the production of melanin.

These are few reasons that result in the whitening of hair at an early age. Smoking and a poor lifestyle also lead to discoloration of hair. If you want to maintain the natural color of your hair then drink plenty of water, eat a healthy diet and take care of your health.
